Black Rocks Michigan Elopement

Want to know a secret? These two were already married when we put together this Black Rocks Elopement in Michigan. Kimberley and I planned our hearts out for this gorgeous little vow renewal type of session.

Not many people know that I do this, but often times couples will come to me and say “Sierra, I wish I could get married all over again, just so you can take our photos!”. This statement is so flattering, but there is a solution! I remind them that it’s totally possible to get those killer images anytime-not just on their wedding day.

Kimberly and her husband got all dressed up (again) and we headed to Black Rocks, a park in the UP of Michigan that I’m obsessed with! I had been here once before. Black Rocks is famous for being a local hangout and if you go there, you NEED to jump in! The water is pretty cold year-round, but it’s worth it.
