Florida Beach Engagement Session

If you’re a beach person you are going to LOVE these golden hour beach engagement photos that were in this session near longboat key, Florida!

The creamy sand beaches scream home for me, since I myself was born in Florida (yup that’s me, I’ve lived and created art all over, but I am definitely a sun-loving Florida girl at heart!).

Justine and Cody were not afraid to roll around in the sand, play on the driftwood, splash around in the water, and have an absolute freaking blast. I always recommend that my couples bring at least two outfits. One outfit should be super super super casual! The more casual the better! These two love birds had a casual outfit that 100% felt like them.

Cody stuck to his Florida fishing attire and Justine wore THE CUTEST summer outfit that I still want to steal off of her! I typically also recommend that for the second outfit, we still keep it casual. However I like to step it up a notch! Justine took my advice perfectly when found this gorgeous purple dress for her shoot and matched it with bare-feet and a smile. And believe it or not, Justine’s flowy purple dress that she wore at the end of the session was from Dillard’s!

Next year Justine and Cody will be tying the knot in the Caribbean (an intimate ceremony with just the two of them! Well… and me!) I’m already looking forward to capturing their unique day and once I do, I promise I’ll come back and share with you the link to their Ceremony blog post right here!
